Laura Bunso Bittencourt, PT, MTC
After an extensive career as one of the leading physical therapists at the Mayo Clinic, Laura established Smart Body Physical Therapy in 2004, and is the Director of Rehabilitation. She first earned her Bachelor's in Biology from Jacksonville University and later earned her Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 1999. After graduation she received her certification in Manual therapy, which involves extensive training in a hands-on approach to treating musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain.
In addition, Laura has specialized in the area of Women's and Men's Health since 1999, and proves to be one of the leading experts in the treatment of urinary/fecal incontinence, back and pelvic pain, and pregnancy-related back and pelvic floor pain. Laura is one of the integral leaders of continuing education in the field of Women's and Men's health, both for patients and providers.

Dr. Arbian Benga, DPT
Dr. Arbian Benga graduated from the University of North Florida and is focused on Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. He is a licensed physical therapist specializing in the treatment of orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries, neurologic dysfunction and post-surgical rehabilitation. In his clinical experience, Arbian develops individualized treatment programs to improve strength and conditioning for all levels of patients, from the "weekend warrior" to the self-confessed "couch potato." Patients love his exercise background as a certified Personal Trainer prior to becoming a Physical Therapist. His experience has afforded him the ability to treat patients in high performance settings and provide excellence in patient care.
Dr. Cynthia (Cindy) E. Neville, PT, EPT, WCS, BCB-PMD
Dr. Neville earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama after receiving her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Caroline, Chapel Hill. Dr. Neville's professional vision is that rehabilitation services, specifically for the female neuro-musculo-skeletal system, is provided as the standard of care, and will be accessible to all women. Dr. Neville is a Women's Health Certified Specialist (WCS); board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialties. In clinical practice, her areas of interest include pelvic floor rehab and obstetric physical therapy. She is certified in biofeedback for pelvic muscle function, and was awarded the Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-pelvic from the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Section on Women's Health in 2007.
Dr. Neville is a national and international researcher and presenter on women's health rehabilitation. She teaches post graduate continuing professional education courses on topics including pelvic floor examination, treatment, and rehabilitation, as well as pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation.
Cindy combines 25 years of clinical experience, knowledge of current research and practice concepts, to provide the highest quality of individualized care to her patients.
Dr. Melissa Caywood, PT, DPT
Dr. Caywood, PT, DPT, is a graduate of The University of Kansas Medical Center where she earned her Bachelor of Science (1989) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2010) degrees. She has extensive experience specializing in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal impairments, including prescription of temporary/permanent orthotics, hand therapy and treatment of special populations (pelvic health, dance and performance artists, sports performance analysis of runners/golfers). She is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor and also enjoys teaching. She has held several adjunct instructor positions in the past with Washburn University, Kansas University Medical Center and The University of Kansas.
Melissa's goals are to network with professionals in her new hometown of Jacksonville, FL and pursue Clinical Specialist certification in the area of Women's Health and Orthopedics. Her current areas of specialization and interest include Women's Health, manual therapy, neuroscience of pain and developing a practice focused on the bio-psycho-social model of practice.
Melissa believes in developing a physical therapy treatment program relative to the individual needs of her patient. She values an honest, safe, evidence-based provision of care while making a difference in the life of a client through an enjoyable and collaborative therapeutic experience.
