Catherine Yelvington earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cartland, NY. After working as a personal trainer in Orlando, FL, she went back to school to get her license in massage therapy. She owned her own business, Muscle Kneads, before continuing her education at the University of North Florida for her Master’s in Physical Therapy. She found her niche in Women’s Health and acquired her Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy/Postpartum and Pelvic Health from the American Physical Therapy Association, and has been specializing in this field for over 10 years. Realizing the importance of nutrition and gut health in treating this population, she furthered her education through the Maryland University of Integrative Health for a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition.

Putting this comprehensive expertise together to help patients achieve optimum health is her goal. She feels that everyone can achieve a higher level of wellness and quality of life with the correct guidance. When we are not feeling well, it’s never just one thing that has gone wrong; it is multifactorial. Having education in all areas of wellness allows her to focus on a holistic approach to healing  – mind, body and spirit.
